Art is my passion.
I am a Contemporary Artist and Interior Designer.
My journey began while traveling in Europe and studying art. I fell in love with the architecture, museums, and classic art.
Years of painting and drawing during my childhood eventually translated into my career, as I found a creative outlet in Interior Design. In 2004 I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I continued my Fine Arts studies during school and painted on a small scale.
I have been blessed to work in the Pittsburgh area with CJ Interior Design Studio, working on both commercial and residential projects. More recently my artwork has gained exposure through installations with CJIDS, and therefore have decided to take my painting from a hobby to the next level.
My artwork is inspired by color. I find passion, life, and energy in color. I have always been intrigued by the way light interacts with it, altering shape and form. I love to experiment with color psychology, understanding how artwork can dramatically influence the mood of a space.
